1. Who we are
bastn.ai is operated by dflux Ltd ("dflux", "we", "us"), a company in Israel. Contact comms@dflux.io.
2. The website and the software
These terms cover the website. bastn is self-hosted software that runs in your network. The software, early access and any related service are provided under a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins. Hosting options and licence terms that are not yet published are not offered on this page.
3. Orders and Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid online orders may be refunded within 30 days. The refund policy at /refund is part of these terms.
4. Early access requests
Requesting access does not create a contract. We decide who joins and when. Please give accurate information, and do not include secrets or other people’s personal data.
5. Acceptable use
Do not break the law or infringe anyone’s rights. Do not probe or test the site for vulnerabilities except through a disclosure you have agreed with us. Do not overload the site, submit spam or malware, or impersonate anyone. Reading and indexing the site, including by crawlers that respect robots.txt, is welcome.
6. Intellectual property
The site, its text and the bastn name and star-fort mark belong to dflux Ltd or its licensors. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy the content or branding for your own product without written permission.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, dflux disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to USD 100, except for liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law does not allow an exclusive forum.
